AMR Artists is pleased to present our first ever Workshop Series, to be led by AMR Artist Kathleen Sweeney,  Interdisciplinary Artist at Kathleen's Woodland Studio in Roxbury, NY.

($25 per session, $70 for the series)

Wonder Walks & Creative Writing

Open attentiveness to sounds, scents and light, somatic experiences translate to poetic observation on the page.Writing journals, watercolor pencils and inks provided.

Awe Collections in Photography, Video and Audio

Saturday, August 31, 2024, 9am-noon

Light, shadow, and close-up observation in nature mindfully ‘foraged’ as photos, 10-second video and audio clips. Editing guidance using the phone as creative tool, along with creative time recovery will be explored .

Enchantment and Mixed Media Bookmaking

Saturday, September 14, 2024, 9am-noon

create unique, hand-sewn accordion collage books. Birch bark, wildflower pigments, lichens and fungi, will be woven into one-of-a-kind art objects. Rice papers, silk threads, botanical inks, and writing materials provided.
