3rd Annual AMR Artists Exhibition
The 3rd Annual AMR Artists Invitational Exhibition is an anticipated group show that will have on display the art of 43 local artists to celebrate the success of the 2024 Open Studios Tour.
The Opening Reception takes place on Saturday, September 21, from 4-7 pm, and is sure to be a well-attended party as in year’s past. The show runs from September 20 - October 6, 2024. The theater will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 12-5 pm.
Musician Garth Kravits will be performing during the reception. Kravits has performed worldwide and is also an actor, writer, and director, as well as the founder and teaching artist of Delaware County School of Performing Arts and another nonprofit, the Margaretville Arts Center, which he co-founded with his partner Julia Rugg.
Exciting and new to the Annual Exhibition is a film screening. AMR Artist Don Freeman is also a filmmaker and will be screening his feature length documentary “Art House” on October 4 at 6:30 pm at the Galli Curci Theater.

DIRECTIONS: The Galli Curci Theatre is located on Main Street in Margaretville, NY steps from the intersection with Bridge Street and Route 30. You may enter to view the installation of work from the main entrance below the theater marquee or from the double-doors on the south side of the building nearest the traffic light. Parking is available on Main Street or in the Municipal Parking Lot behind the Commons Building.
The Galli Curci Theatre was constructed by Clarke Sanford and opened in 1923 as a silent film cinema and offices for The Catskill Mountain News, and it continued to be an integral part of the cultural fabric of the region until its closure as a cinema in 1985.
