Following a long hiatus, I resumed painting six years ago after moving to the Catskills. I work primarily in watercolor, drawing my inspiration from the natural world - both in landscapes and still lives - expressed through strong images that move me emotionally. I am also drawn towards depictions of the human figure as a way of exploring ambiguous emotional states.
