Weil is a multimedia artist whose studio practice focuses primarily on painting and drawing. He is concerned with rendering apparitions using pattern-making and personal symbolic language originating from meditations on the auto-projection of self while considering cyclic history, simultaneous reality, and psychogenesis in the process of mapping one’s mind.

He is working on a public art project of large-scale outdoor paintings on panels installed on barns at working farms in Delaware County, New York where he lives. Viewers will be able to visit the paintings as part of a tour titled “New Worlds for Old” and discover the vibrant and integral agricultural economy and community. Completed installations include the Davis Farm in Margaretville and the Echo Orchard and Logan farms in Hamden with proposals for Andes, Bovina, Delhi, Hobart, Stamford and Roxbury seeking funding.
