I am an artist because it is who I am. Since discovering that desire in my 20s, I have continually created and have shown my work, much of which is in my Harpersfield studio.

I recently retired from teaching art (3 glorious years ago) at Walton High School for 20-plus years. I have been working on landscape watercolors, something I got away from for 40 years, focusing more on my sculpture/paintings and large paintings. I have been spending four months a year in Puerto Rico and paint “en plein air” watercolors. I work in my studio the rest of the year and look forward to sharing my space and art with the interested public.

mullen3_300pxI was educated at The Philadelphia College of Art (Uarts), The Academy of Art, London, England, my graduate degree is from SUNY New Paltz and by my students for more than 25 years. I look forward to meeting those who come to visit.
