Rhonda Harrow Engel was born and raised in NYC. She attended the High School of Art & Design, Bard College, NY (BFA); Temple Univ., Tyler School of Art in Rome; Pratt Graphics Center, NYC; Empire State, (MFA).
Rhonda worked in the graphics field in NYC from 1972-1990 and has been a Fine Arts Instructor at SUNY Delhi since 1994.
Her studio sales include the Stagecoach Run inTreadwell, West Kortright Fall Festival, Stone & Sawyer in Delhi, The Stonehouse in Delhi; MURAL Gallery in Delhi and CANO in Oneonta.
“My pottery is a combination of form and whimsy. I paint and sculpt figurative elements into my pieces and I experiment with glazes, creating combinations to delight the hand and eye. My work can be seen at Stone & Sawyer and at The Stonehouse, both on Main Street in Delhi. All my work is high-fired stoneware, dishwasher safe and food safe.”
